We're seeking motivated individuals to join our School Based Team full time in Douglas County schools. This therapist will be screening students using the SBIRT model and completing CRAFFTs. They will also be responsible for running substance abuse prevention groups in Douglas County for 12-18 year old's . This position provides behavioral health consultation, biopsychosocial assessment, counseling, and evidence-based interventions to individuals, groups and/or their families in a school setting. School Based Therapists ensure integration of services and coordination of care to promote the most optimal outcome for each of our clients.

To Succeed In This Role, You'll Need
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related field.
- Active LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Colorado. LAC preferred
- Exposure to or experience working in a clinical setting in the behavioral health field, including assessment, evaluation and therapeutic engagement of diverse clients; use of evidence-based counseling models and techniques that match presenting problems; good diagnostic skills and treatment/care planning; and the ability to work with clinical documentation and electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of DSM V and working principles of recovery and trauma-informed care in treatment planning and in direct care.
