Alliance Global Solutions is a leading provider of internet and phone services, and we are expanding our installation team and looking for a Lead Fiber Technician in the Kingston, NY, area. Our Technician will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch services to our customers' homes and small businesses while providing leadership to your peers.

Responsibilities:

· Independently visit customers' homes and small businesses to professionally install and troubleshoot internet and phone services.

· Work collaboratively with your team to complete daily assigned tasks and ensure all customers have a positive installation experience.

· Safely use hand, power tools, and prioritize safety.

· Ensure that all installed services meet the scope and expectations of the service provider using company-provided tools and test equipment.

· Drive a company-provided vehicle to job sites in a professional and safe manner, adhering to all company driving policies.

· Always maintain a well-stocked and clean vehicle.

· Complete job ticketing accurately and in a timely manner.

· Provide exceptional, professional customer service at every job site.

· Must possess strong performance, management, and communication skills to deliver a consistent message of performance expectations.

· Ensure new technical practices, and customer contact skills are being delivered by peers.

· Work with the Area Operations Manager to schedule workforce appropriate to workload.

· Must be able to work flexible hours with the understanding that workdays can be more than normal hours and some weekend and holiday work may be required.

· Must be knowledgeable and capable of performing emergency installation/service work (<5%).

Position Requirements: ( Must have at 3 years of Master technician experience) 

· Must have solid knowledge of Broadband Installation, Map & Print Reading, Fiber, codes and standards relative to residential or commercial communications.

· Must have solid knowledge of home construction and the installation of communications systems.

· Comfortability of working in attics and crawl spaces in a customer’s home

· Experience meeting new people every day working in a fast-paced, high demand job environment.

· Valid driver's license

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Able to lift, climb and carry ladders of at least 70 lbs.

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• MUST LIVE within 30 miles of Kingston NY area

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 (Based on Experience)
