Alliance Group is seeking an experienced candidate to fill a full-time Proactive Maintenance Sales role based in Essex Junction, VT to join our growing Service team.

This is a position that is responsible for reaching baseline sales goals based on a yearly timeline for Proactive Maintenance sales for mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for our New York customer base. These sales goals will be achieved by going to customer sites and accessing rooftop equipment to bid PMs, building service-orientated relationships with customers, and administering sales agreements.

The hours for this position are 7:00am to 4:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

Salary:

Starting Base Salary Range: $50,000/yr – base salary is negotiable based on experience. In addition, there is variable rate commission associated with this role based on the scope of work to be accomplished.

Job Summary:

Proactive Maintenance Sales will be responsible for reaching sales goals based on a yearly timeline for Proactive Maintenance regarding mechanical, electrical, and controls systems by building and growing a customer base, occasionally climbing ladders and accessing rooftop equipment to bid PMs appropriately, speaking with customers about bids, drafting agreements, and more with an emphasis on a customer base in the state of New York.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain baseline sales goals based on yearly timeline
• Maintain sales profitability (working with Sales Manager to maintain profit margins)
• Developing new sales leads and potential customer lists
• Administration of agreements
• Develop and maintain a contact list for sales procedures to maximize department efficiency
• Inspect equipment for PM bids – will sometimes require climbing a ladder or access equipment on a roof.
• Drive to customer sites with company vehicle to discuss possible PM bids and update customer requests for equipment changes/upgrades

Travel is primarily local during the business day, but occasionally necessary beyond local. Additional offices are located in North Clarendon, VT; West Lebanon, NH; and Bow, NH. Company does perform meetings which sometimes require travel to a designated meeting space.

License/Certification:

Valid Driver’s License required

Security Clearance is not generally applicable but may be required for some customer sites. A background verification will be required.
