JOB DESCRIPTION Compensation : $17 - $25 per hour

Alliance Industrial Solutions is seeking a skilled Grinder Set Up and Technicians for our Clients in Canton, OH . The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining production quality for various grinding equipment, including infeed, Thrufeed, and Studer machines.

The role involves making mechanical adjustments, diagnosing routine machine problems, and learning to operate and repair machines under the guidance of senior personnel.

This position requires devising methods to set up and machine work pieces effectively.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years grinding experience, preferably in a job shop environment
• Understanding of Infeed, Through Feed, Center, and Centerless grinding
• Knowledge of ISO and TS standards and systems
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and self-motivated
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Competent in comprehending blueprints and using applicable measuring devices
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Continuous Improvement mentality
• Experience as a team lead or in a supervisory role is a HUGE plus

Essential Job Functions :

• Machine Operation and Setup : Load / unload parts, ensure safety, and operate controls. Evaluate job layout, set up equipment, and adjust to specifications.
• Documentation : Complete and record equipment operation issues. Perform hourly equipment checks and document improvements.
• Maintenance and Clean Up : Maintain a clean work area and perform machine upkeep. Direct preventative maintenance and arrange for necessary repairs.

Shift & Pay :

Available to rotate shifts : 1st (7am-3pm); 2nd (3pm-11pm); 3rd (11pm-7am)

Hourly Wage : $17-25 / hr, depending on experience
