Alliance Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for a full time, Medical Assistant to join our family!
Our medical assistants work closely with our providers to ensure the best possible patient care. Medical assistants work in clinic rooming patients, taking vitals, charting and assisting with procedures. MA's in our practice also perform fetal heart tone checks and set up non-stress tests for pregnant patients.
Medical assistants typically work four days per week, nine to ten hours per day. Weekly schedules and assigned location vary based upon staffing and provider availability. Our MA's work out of our East Lansing and Mason locations and rotate through both clinics when needed.
Alliance OB/GYN emphasizes the patient experience, so strong customer service skills are a must! This position also requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience as a medical assistant. A certification (RMA, CMA) or a Medical Assistant certificate/diploma from a credentialed institution are required. OB/GYN experience is a plus, but not necessary.
Health, vision, dental, life and 401(k) are available. Wage is based on experience. No weekend or holiday hours!
$500 dollar bonus after 90 day satisfactory performance review!
