Our client is seeking an enthusiastic professional to build their market share in Columbus, Ohio. This newly created Senior Engineering Project Manager role allows you to provide MEP/FP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection) design services supporting mechanical, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems within Healthcare and Higher Educational facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives to generate and engage with clients and partners to build new and repeat business for Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure (BEI) in the Ohio market
• Work with BEI management to build strategic business development plans setting and meeting revenue growth targets and take ownership of their execution.
• Develop a strong pipeline of new clients and partners through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting including marketing, outreach to clients to develop effective teams for proposals.
• Help increase BEI’s presence at industry events, in person and online.
• Provide feedback from clients and partners to help drive the service delivery roadmap.
• Provide accurate and timely forecasts, funnel hygiene, and target updates to meet sales objectives.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with an active PE license.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in client management to public and private sector clients in the construction industry.
• Must have existing relationships with clients and demonstrated past success in building new client relationships.
• Must possess a thorough understanding of the consulting engineering business and the leadership and business development skills to expand market share in the Buildings, Energy, and Infrastructure sector.
