We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) to join our Global Communications team, based in Munich.
Your TeamOur team supports the company's external and internal communications. We create and distribute messages across multiple channels with the help of our regional teams around the world. Our mission is to protect our brand and reputation, be a thought leader in the media, drive employee engagement and shape our culture.
The Impact You Will HaveReporting to the Global Head of Communications, you will be right at the heart of the action, supporting our team across many different activities and projects (office and remote working). The focus of your work will be on digital communication (internal and external) and supporting media relations, but you’ll also be exposed to many other communications activities as part of a friendly and busy team with colleagues from around the world.

The focus of your work will be on digital communication (internal and external) and supporting media relations, but you’ll also be exposed to many other communications activities as part of a friendly and busy team with colleagues from around the world.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Manage cross-channel content: selecting visuals, editing text and pictures, and working with content management systems (website, social media, intranet, newsletter)
- Analyze and monitor the performance of digital platforms and social media channels regularly
- Assist in monitoring daily media reports online and analyzing global media coverage & quarterly reporting
- Support the updating of press distribution lists and conduct editorial research as needed
- Contribute to additional projects in internal and external communication
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree study, preferably in Communications Science, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration or other relevant fields
- Posses strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work in an international environment and outstanding inter-cultural skills
- High degree of accuracy, reliability, initiative and independent working style
- High self-motivation and active team player with good sense of humour
- Very good knowledge of MS Office tools (especially MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with content management systems and photo editing tools. Video editing is a bonus skill
- Fluent English and German skills
- Duration at least 6 months (preferably longer)
- Working hours: 38 hours/week
- Enrollment at the university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.
