At Investment Management Life & Health, you will have the opportunity to delve into the investment processes of one of the world's largest institutional investors. You will be part of a team that invests in venture capital funds and co-investment opportunities, with a strong focus on climate tech.
This position offers a true start-up atmosphere as the team is still young and small. We provide you with a unique opportunity to work on a wide variety of topics related to venture capital investing. You will be working closely with the fund managers and founders, contributing to the building of some of the most exciting companies in Climate Tech. Candidates should have a solid tech and/or economic background, a strong interest in ESG and climate impact, and a lot of drive to build something new with us!
What you will do as an Intern - Venture Capital with a focus on Climate Tech (m/f/d)
Remuneration: In addition to an attractive salary, you can expect a monthly travel cost subsidy of €25.00 and a daily meal allowance of €2.45 in our excellent employee restaurants.

What you will do as an Intern - Venture Capital with a focus on Climate Tech (m/f/d)
- Sourcing and screening of potential fund and co-investments
- Conducting in-depth due diligence and writing investment proposals
- Performing qualitative and quantitative assessments (performance analysis, portfolio reporting, etc.)
- Analyzing trends, markets, technologies, and business models
- Process review and optimization (benchmarking, integration of tech tools, etc.)
- Prepare presentations and supporting documents for internal meetings
- Academic background in the field of business administration or technology (ideally already holding a Bachelor's degree)
- Passionate about impact and innovation, venture capital and the startup ecosystem
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken), German is a plus
- Hands-on mentality, curiosity, motivation and excellent communication skills
- Ideally, first working experience in a fast paced environment (VC, PE, IB, Cosulting, Growth Venture)
