Allied Resources Technical Consultants is Hiring a Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer Near Richmond, VA

Allied Resources is looking for a Senior E&I Reliability Engineerwho will be supporting electrical maintenance and reliability strategies and working on critical preventative and predictive project initiatives. This is an 8-4 p.m. on-site position that provides a very flexible work schedule. This is a full-time direct-hire opportunity located in Greater Richmond, VA that offers a competitive base salary, strong benefits plan, PTO package, 401k, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support electrical maintenance projects/programs assessing performance of electrical equipment and controls (VFD’s, motors and motor control systems).
  • Develop and implement reliability control plans for electrical systems as part of an ongoing asset risk management initiatives.
  • Review and analyze technical documentation to support capital projects from inception to completion.
  • Engage in troubleshooting activities to determine root cause and corrective action.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
  • 5 years of experience within a manufacturing plant setting.
  • Experience working with National Electric Code, NFPA 70E and ISA standards.
