Scheduler Job Duties
- Responsible for managing schedule and scheduling exceptions associated in our new workforce management system, Click. This may include both short-cycle and long-cycle construction and service work.
- Works with supervisors to resolve schedule issues and ensure priority work is scheduled.
- Monitors radio, phone, and system messages to communicate schedule adjustments to field personnel.
- Dispatches work after the start of the day (after field employees have left the yard in the morning), using Click software, including adjusting crews as necessary after initial dispatching.

- Makes customer contact to resolve customer issues/complaints as needed. Identifies schedule deficiencies, analyzes alternatives, and recommends solutions to schedule conflicts.
- Works with affected parties to ensure that conflicts are resolved and/or mitigated.
- Interfaces with internal groups such as Project Management and Construction, Major Accounts, and Distribution Operations Center for planned outages and resource coordination.
- Adjust schedules based on feedback. Serves as a member of the incident response team.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with multiple levels of the organizational structure.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience/training in scheduling resources or maintenance and construction practices.
Job Type: Contract.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour.
