Crane Operator - 2nd Shift
Who we are looking for:
We are currently searching for an experienced Crane Operator to be based out of Harvey, IL, located approximately 30 miles south of Downtown Chicago. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for transporting coils using cranes inside the building from trailers/rail/transfer cars to storage and from storage to transfer cars, recording coil/storage location data, moving coils from transfer car to slitter storage/slitter mandrel and from slitters to slit coil storage.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
