The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the general ledger and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of account reconciliations and financial statements prepared as part of the month-end close process. The Senior Accountant will also support the annual audit examination conducted by the company's independent auditors, and complete various ad hoc projects.RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account informationResearch, reconcile, and resolve account discrepanciesEngage in trend and budget P&L analysisSupport the field and other corporate department initiativesAnnual audit examination assistance and verification of documentsCollaborate with team members on ad hoc accounting projects, including technology implementationCoach and train staff accountants as neededQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of studyMinimum of two (2) years of professional accounting experienceHighly organized, self-motivated, and detail orientedAbility to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlinesProficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technologyProfessional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretionOutstanding oral and written communication skillsBONUS QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED):Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Audit experienceMasters in Accounting BENEFITS:Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceEnrollment in our company's 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirementsEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal daysVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
