Pay Information $2,280 per week About The Position ID: 49803282 Shift: Thur, Fri: 0730-1600; Sat, Sun: 1100-2300 Description: The CT Technologist, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and the Radiologists, performs computerized Tomography procedures including procedures of an invasive nature. Machine is a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner. The CT Technologist positions and instructs the patient, operates various pieces of specialized equipment and determines the technical factors for exposure. He/she must insure correct marking/labeling of all films. The CT Technologist must consistently provide safe, quality patient care. He/she also must take call.

• Graduate of approved AMA school of Radiology and be a registered ARRT
• Possess knowledge in cross sectional anatomy
• Possession of two years diagnostic experience, desirable
• Moderate to heavy physical effort required. Must apply proper body mechanics to safely transport patients andequipment.
• Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist
• Ability to move forty (40) pounds six feet
• Ability to reach overhead holding twenty-five (25) pounds
• Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from wheelchair to bed level
• Ability to pull forty (40) pounds from stretcher to bed
• Ability to push 150-poundloaded stretcher 300 feet
• Requires good stamina with flexibility and good manual dexterity; motor skills to operate delicate equipment
• Requires computer skills
