The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in computed tomography and be proficient in performing CT scans and other imaging procedures. Responsibilities include reviewing patient history, performing imaging procedures, and maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities: Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient understanding and cooperation. Position patients and perform imaging procedures. Ensure proper imaging techniques related to patients' age and ability to understand the procedure. Review patient information and interpretation of data to confirm an appropriate plan and intervention. Perform CT imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results. Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating procedures. Enter, transmit, and report scan results. Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate. Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in the CT room. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
