Position patients and equipment appropriately to accurately demonstrate the area being examined, requiring extensive anatomic positioning skills (25%). Provide appropriate radiation protection for patients and staff during radiation exposures according to prescribed safety standards (25%). Adjust technical factors to provide appropriate exposure by use of independent judgment, knowledge of human anatomy, effect of disease on the radiograph, and the principles of radiation as well as the specific operation of all radiologic equipment within the department (25%).
