Unit: UltrasoundCOST CENTER: CC10645# of bedsn/aRatiosn/aRequired CertificationsARDMS or ARRT (US), BLSCommon diagnoses/Types of patientsInpatient/outpatient/EDExperience or 'Must have' skillsExperience/licensure in diagnostic sonography (US). General diagnostic sonography position, vascular licensure is not required, but would be a plus. PEDS experience would be a PLUS. Children's Hospital PEDS experience preferred but not required If they had their Peds Registry that would be great but most will not. - Adult US completes about 30-40 ultrasounds from 7a to 5p with 2-3 techs EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use -UMMC uses EPIC for medical charting and PACS for image acquisition Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens)-Adult US uses Philips Epiq 7 and Epiq Elite Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech-Adult US is under the supervision of an Ultrasound Manager Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants) -No Radiologist in-house -Yes, we have an Attending in house as well as multiple residents that station in the dept from 8a-4p Do they have to start IV's (if applicable to the department)-No Cancellation Listed Charting Systems Corporation
