You Will Partner With The Executive Director In The Management Of Human Resource Activities, Including, Safety, Leaves Of Absences, Talent/performance Management, And Workers Compensation. Partners with the Executive Director to support community purpose and objectives; implements changes that enhances the service goals of the community and the organization.
Serves as the primary HR resource at the community; liaising with the Support Center to ensure alignment with the organizations mission, vision, and values.
Partners with the department directors to ensure timely review, submission, and processing of team member HRIS entries, including employment status changes, terminations, and payroll/timesheet review and approval.
Maintains compliance with employment laws and licensing by ensuring the accuracy of team member files and documentation.
Reviews, analyzes, and offers up solutions for improvement of the communitys people metrics, including creation, development, implementation and maintenance of processes and procedures to manage and limit risks and exposure.
Intakes and provides coaching, guidance, and support to community leaders on team member related matters; directing issues as appropriate to HR management to ensure compliance.
Manages the benefits process, including new enrollments, changes, terminations, open enrollment, and team member contributions, ensuring compliance.
Monitors, tracks, and manages the leave of absence (LOA) process, including job modifications and accommodations.
Supports the timely maintenance and audit of team member documentation, including health clearances, licenses, certifications, and other job-related training records, to ensure timely renewal, and current updates, for licensure compliance.
Manages the partner program and team member onboarding. Talent Management:
Serves as the primary support partner for pre-onboarding and onboarding of new team members, ensuring proper clearances, certifications, and systems access, and new hire participation in organization and community level training programs.
Partnering with the Support Center, ensures team member trainings are up to date, and provides training as needed to ensure compliance.
Manages the rewards and recognition program.
Partners with community leaders to drive team member engagement, supporting retention efforts, and lower turnover rates. Safety and Risk Management:
In partnership with the Executive Director, maintains established safety and risk management programs.
Provides, reviews reporting, and offers solutions, for safety and workers compensation improvements; including partnering with department managers to provide trainings that reduce injuries.
Maintains OSHA logs to ensure timely updates and current compliance.
Escalates safety and risk concerns to the appropriate individual or department. Community Administrative Support: Supporting special projects for/with the Executive Director, and Department Directors
Provides administrative assistance and/or leadership support, in partnership with the Front Desk and Administrative Staff, as needed.
Supports efficient operations by providing timely information and guidance to managers and staff members. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of two years related experience - preferably in a health care environment.
Working knowledge of California labor and OSHA laws Skills and Attributes:
Predisposed critical-thinker possesses a high attention to detail and a proactive approach to analyzing situations, driving root-cause analysis, and formulating solutions to prevent recurrence of issues.
Analytical, process and procedure driven to ensure compliance to SOPs, Systems, and licensure requirements.

Self-motivated and able to exercise good judgment, initiative, and able to prioritize to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to drive and maintain change with measurable results. Offer ideas to improve upon current processes, eliminate waste, redundancy, and encourage cost reduction efforts.
Must be able to function well in a highly service oriented environment serving older adults and their families; and have outstanding verbal communication and listening skills.
