Job Summary:
Assists echo technologists, nurses and cardiologists in the delivery of diagnostic imaging services. Manages daily schedule and workflow, serves as an expert for various computer systems and performs department billing audits.
Key Position Details:
This position is responsible for the management of cardiovascular data for Minneapolis Heart Institute's Cardiovascular Emergencies Program. Preferred applicants are seeking experience in cardiovascular research and/or have experience STEMI or ELSO databases.
Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
- Manages the daily department workflow with input from leadership.
- Coordinates the daily inpatient and outpatient schedule including add on exams.
- Keeps department informed of changes or additions to the schedule.
- Adapts performance and communication to the population served.
- Serves as an expert for various computer systems in the department.
- Processes department timecards and provides back up timekeeper support to other departments/managers.
- Requests equipment repair.
- Audits department billing and completes manual charges.
- Orders and maintains supplies for department.
- Prepares, maintains and updates department statistics and provides to leadership.
- Gathers and submits information for productivity.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma or GED preferred
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required
