Role Description

The Landscape Designer / Account Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Allison Landscaping by designing stunning landscapes and managing accounts for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, landscape design, and sales. For this role, you will be responsible landscape design sales, managing client accounts for both commercial and residential clients, and ensuring landscape projects and services are performed to meet or exceed client expectations. You will be responsible for generating commercial and residential sales, as well as the ongoing management of these customers. You will create landscape designs to present to customers, submit competitive bids for commercial maintenance contracts, and collaborate with our experienced and hard-working team to ensure projects and services are performed on time and up to customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present creative landscape designs tailored to clients' needs and preferences.
• Design and plan hardscapes including paver patios, retaining walls, walkways, and other features.
• Work closely with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on plant selection, landscape layouts, and maintenance.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing design concepts and project benefits.
• Manage all aspects of the design sales process, including estimating costs, preparing proposals, and procuring materials.
• Manage all aspects of the account management process including negotiating contracts and renewals, estimating costs, preparing proposals, and cultivating strong relationships with commercial clients by acting as the main point of contact.
• Oversee the execution of landscape projects, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the installation and maintenance teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Stay current with industry trends, new products, and best practices in landscape design and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape design and landscape maintenance
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage projects
• Ability and willingness to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Knowledge of local plant species and landscaping techniques
• Experience in commercial account management or bid work is a plus
• Experience with CAD or other landscape design software is a plus
