• Day Shift
• **This position will require occasional nights/weekends coverage.

Position OverviewAre you interested in learning more about Quality Control in the world leading industrial coating resins company. allnex is seeking an experienced, responsible and results oriented supervisor to join our dynamic team. You will provide leadership to a team of 4 employees and will provided hands-on expertise in the quality lab.
Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 4 QC lab technicians (24/7 schedule) and manage day to day QC lab operations.
• Develop QC lab training on analytical test methods and equipment and conduct internal training.
• Maintain shelf life of products via requalification process.
• Responsible for calibration of lab equipment.
• Conduct and coordinate Round Robins and measurement variant analysis
• Coordinate with Quality Manager to investigate nonconformances and complaints.
• Assist with Management of Change for new raw material suppliers.
• Perform all laboratory tests for raw material and finished products including quick troubleshooting.

Required Skills And Experience

• Minimum of 5 plus years of previous laboratory and 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience within the chemical industry is desired.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Self-starter, ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and detail oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
