Our Ideal Candidate

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrated success with the coordination of the execution of a wide variety of industrial projects.

A Day in the Life

  • Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications to support the owner
  • Produce mechanical/piping layout drawings, piping isometric drawings, tank data sheets, process and instrumentation/control diagrams, specifications and details and bills of materials
  • Assist and coordinate the development of procurement and contract documents, including Requests for Quotations, Bid Walks, Technical Bid Evaluations, Engineering Work Packages and coordinate contractor activities
  • Coordinate engineering, project management and construction activities to ensure the project is fabricated and installed as per design drawings and specifications
  • Review and approve daily project progress report, own the QA document and logs for project completion (record keeping)
  • Participate in technical meetings with the office engineering team and client
  • Assist vendors to gather and prepare data for submittal or transmittal to the owner
  • Assist in the maintenance of project record keeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, requests for information (RFIs) and memorandums
  • Provide field support and respond to field engineering RFI and questions as quickly as possible in line with project design philosophy
  • Prepare request for quotation and scope of work documents for related project needs
  • Responsible for maintaining master project schedules

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Technical diploma, degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • 7-10 years of experience working on industrial project sites
  • Experience with coordination of work and people, communication (verbal and written), planning and organization
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge and experience with ERP and CMMS platforms (eg. BST, SAP, Indus Passport, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with project scheduling software (eg. MS Project, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with AutoDesk software (eg. AutoCad, AutoCad Plant 3D, etc.)
