Inside Sales Representative - Industrial Distribution - Base Salary to 25.00 / hour - Altoona, PA

Our client is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving revenue growth by providing a positive customer experience, building relationships, and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities :

• Provide seamless customer service to walk-in and call-in customers as well as the outside sales team
• Input customer orders, quotes, and bids for products, and purchase products to fulfill these orders.
• Support and conduct counter sales as needed
• Quote and sell supplier’s products, ensuring value to customers and profit for the company
• Solve customer challenges and / or seek management for resolution
• Increase sales and average order size through cross-selling, up-selling, and promoting

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 3 years in a customer service or inside sales role
• Technical expertise in the company products and industry is preferred but not required
• Understanding of inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures highly desired
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, load products into a truck, and climb stairs carrying products

Compensation

• Base salary in the 18.00 25.00 / hour range, plus commission
