We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Risk Management Team, focusing on the migration of data to the cloud. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and automating data transfers, ensuring seamless integration and operation on our DIAS platform.
Responsibilities:

• Data Migration: Lead the effort in migrating data to the cloud, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and security throughout the process.
• Framework Development: Design and implement frameworks to automate data transfers and integration workflows.
• Problem Solving: Act as the primary resolver for all data-related issues, utilizing your expertise to troubleshoot and optimize data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to facilitate data migration and integration tasks.
• Monitor data migration performance and implement improvements to optimize speed and reliability.
• Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout all migration activities.
• Provide technical expertise and support for DIAS platform applications and tools as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes and best practices.

Skills Required:

• Must Have: Proficiency in AWS Cloud services, Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), and data migration strategies.
• Nice to Have: Experience with Python scripting, Shell/Perl scripting, scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys), performance monitoring (e.g., APICA, Grafana, AppDynamics).

Experience:

• Must Have: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, Big Data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Nice to Have: 2-3 years of experience in Python scripting, Shell scripting, and familiarity with scheduling and monitoring tools in cloud environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Proven track record in delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
