Allure Lifestyle Communities is Hiring a Maintenance / Service Technician Near Vancouver, WA
The Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property in a safe, efficient, and quality manner. This position will assist in all phases of maintenance operations.
The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Service Supervisor . This position will maintain working relationships with all other staff members, vendors, contractors, construction personnel; will maintain positive relationships with all current and prospective residents.
ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities that are listed below are not all inclusive; however, they are indicative of the type of responsibilities normally performed by the Maintenance Technician:
- Completes maintenance work orders as assigned
- Completes daily work schedules for routine maintenance duties
- Paints, cleans, completes maintenance items, and all other items required for the completion of the unit under renovation
- Notifies Maintenance Supervisor and Executive Director of all problems and potential issues of concern
- Handles emergency situations that may arise, and communicates all details of the incident to the
- Participates in on-call schedule and responds to after-hours incidents
- Performs all phases of snow removal from all needed areas and maintains all appropriate equipment
- Interacts in a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
- Actively participates and follows the safety and health programs
- Maintains inventory of equipment, tools, supplies, and work materials
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
- Minimum High School Education or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years full time maintenance experience including painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mowing, plowing, etc.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and heating systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems involving residents, emergency situations, etc.
- Basic computer skills for completing online work orders
- Works well in a team environment and demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level
- Must have HVAC and pool certifications
- Minimum forty (40) hours per week; additional hours as required. Regular schedule to be consistent with established hours of operation
- Salary commensurate with level of experience and job requirements
