Avantax is Hiring a Client Service Representative III - Wealth Management Operations Near Dallas, TX

Position Summary

Avantax is seeking a Client Service Representative III who will be assigned a client base of top-producing financial advisors. The selected incumbent will also support their business needs and practices, recognize trends to provide proactive guidance, successfully handle and diffuse escalations, and have an understanding of financial products to provide a high-touch service experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing oversight and relationship management to a client base of top-producing financial advisors and assistants.
  • Answering incoming phone calls and emails to provide expedient and accurate information to advisors and assistants regarding programs, platforms, documents, new account setup, transfer of assets, trading and commissions, etc.
  • Serving as an educational resource by providing financial product knowledge and training on proper processes and procedures.
  • Serving as a liaison between internal departments to resolve outstanding issues for advisors and assistants.
  • Analyze and comprehend complex functions and be able to disseminate that knowledge in a clear and understandable format to others.
  • Recommend areas for process and procedure improvement to improve office efficiency.
  • Other job duties as defined.

Education & Experience

  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Series 7, 66, or 63/65 combo is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-energy call center financial environment, preferably in a client relationship management role.

Physical Demand & Work Effort

  • Keying/typing, standing, walking.
  • Sitting for an extended period.
  • Constant mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness in an office environment.
  • The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during the normal performance of the job.
  • Compliance with company attendance standards.
