The Opportunity

This role in on a hybrid schedule- in office weekly and some remote days

This role will be a member of Ally's Enterprise Resilience team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Resilience and will be responsible for the Enterprise wide scenario program. This position will leverage the existing Operational Risk scenario analysis framework and expand the design to facilitate a holistic scenario program that leverages outputs from other areas within risk that conduct testing, scenarios or exercises to build upon resilience activities. This program will stress financial and non-financial parameters of either scenarios within an inventory or newly created, depending on the need, to arrive at conservative results in support of Enterprise Resilience and Capital Planning.

The Work Itself

* Lead the design of Enterprise Resilience and Capital Planning stress testing processes and supporting the establishment/progression/utilization of output of existing processes in support of enterprise wide evaluation of financial and non-financial risk.

* Manage the end-to-end Scenario Analysis exercise execution for risk/resilience assessment and quantification of losses.

* Manage the Resilience/Operational Risk Enterprise Capital Plan Stress Test scenario submission.

* Implement policy, framework, standards, and procedures for the Enterprise Resilience Scenario Analysis Program.

* Provide expertise in Scenario Analysis improvement initiatives including program expansion, data modeling, collaboration with BL and IRM partners.

* Lead external research and benchmarking to enhance, update and maintain sound Scenario Analysis practices aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

* Provide guidance and subject matter expertise/training to all Program stakeholders, as required, in support of compliance with Scenario Analysis Program, including integration with other risk framework components.

* Ensure all processes, standards, and procedures are kept current, consistent with documentation, reviewed periodically for compliance, and assessed against the business need and risk appetite framework.

The Skills You Bring

* Bachelor's degree

* 5 years of risk management, accounting, FP&A, or auditing experience

* Some financial services experience required

* 2 years leadership experience managing programs and/or people

* FP&A background and demonstrated understanding of the various financial statement components preferred.

* A background in Risk, Controls, Operational Losses, Loss Forecasting/Modeling, or Scenario Analysis preferred.

* Working knowledge of risk management components (e.g., policy/procedures, governance, reporting, risk control self-assessments, issue management) in a regulated environment

* Accomplished communicator - possesses the ability to influence outcomes while also educating on requirements and rationale.

* Proficient listener - individual can understand requirements and outputs of corresponding programs and support/lead dynamic processes that yields results that could be leveraged for multiple purposes.
