We're seeking experienced construction superintendents with a strong background in construction leadership. Our organization specializes in the expansion and remodeling of big-box retail stores.
As a superintendent for our company, you will be responsible for worker documentation, daily schedule reporting, SWPPP reporting, compliance reporting, site safety and compliance training, procuring small-dollar contracts with local subcontractors, interacting with the owner and subcontractors, coordinating trade work, and ensuring construction schedule adherence.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Managing a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocation
2. Creating cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs
3. Collaborating with clients, project managers, and other construction management to determine budgets and timelines
4. Coordinating material and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
5. Creating schedules for workers and subcontractors
6. Hiring additional subcontractors and assigning work accordingly
7. Maintaining a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary
8. Making changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines
9. Implementing management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient

4. Trained in safety and compliance
5. Lock-out/Tag-out experience
6. Close out finish and validation
7. Valid Driver's License (required)
