Salary Range: 52,000 – 58,500 USD AnnuallyThe referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level. Position Summary: Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for analysis and action within accounting as well as financial operations functions and processes. The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in the accounting team, periodically working closely with the FP&A and HR. The ideal candidate must be looking to build and enhance existing processes and worksheets, and be comfortable communicating findings and recommendations to the Accounting Manager and accounting team. The Staff Accountant must be proactive, pay close attention to details, and is driven by deadlines. The position will periodically work with Assistant Controller as well as SVP Controller.Anticipated start date is January 8, 2024. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly journal entriesInvestigate unreconciled differences and prepare monthly balance sheets reconciliationsAssist in responding to annual audit inquiriesWork with Accounting Manager in addition to HR and/or Operations groups to identify improvement opportunities with reporting and/or processesAssist in ad hoc reporting and/or analysis requests from Assistant Controller, Tax Director, SVP Controller, or SVP F&A as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferredPassion for details and “digging in”Solutions oriented mindset; comes with recommendations in addition to questionsAbility to remain flexible and professional in challenging situationsAbility to work independently with a high degree of initiativeAble to work as part of a geographically diverse team.Strong computer literacy (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains a plus)
