POSITION: Middle School Teacher – (1 position)
Must be certified to teach in the following subjects:
ELA and Social Studies
LOCATION: Donald L. Pavlik Middle School
REPORTS TO: Jennifer Huntoon, Principal
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education
- Must be highly qualified to teach 6th – 8th grade
- Meet requirements for background check and fingerprinting
Job Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills:
A successful candidate will possess:
- Successful experience working with middle level age students
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Apply differentiated instruction and assessment that improves achievement for all learners in a collaborative environment
- Demonstrate commitment to support students’ social emotional and academic development
- Ability to relate and instruct students in large groups, small groups, and individualized settings
- Ability to develop and use strategies to improve student achievement in all core content areas
- Ability to use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction
- Ability to contribute to a professional learning team
