Job Description
Almanax is seeking someone to join our team in person in NYC and wear the hats of both a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer. The ideal candidate will innovate at the intersection of AI and blockchain, working with LLMs and other deep learning models applied to cybersecurity problems in the blockchain arena. As a DS/MLE, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions for our clients and building a team from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy models utilizing LLMs, Chain of Thoughts, and RAG for various applications
- Design, develop, and maintain our production AI architecture and data pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and extract actionable insights
- Apply strong mathematical and statistical knowledge to solve complex problems and optimize algorithms
- Develop data-driven storytelling narratives to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Work on a day-to-day basis with Almanax founders
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and AI research
Requirements
- Experience in a data science role, with a proven track record of working with production grade machine learning models
- Strong background in mathematics, statistics, and computer science
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Able to work in the US in-person out of our NYC office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Go
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and methodologies
- Previously worked at an early-stage startup in the web3 or AI space
- Robust portfolio of past ML/AI projects
