Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer / Analyst with DLP (Level 3)

Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Security engineer or analyst specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management principles, DLP operations, regulatory requirements (GDPR, GLBA, CCPA, etc.), security control frameworks (NIST), and excellent program management and communication skills. This role will be pivotal in leading governance activities, managing risks, and enhancing our cybersecurity posture through effective DLP program implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

DLP Governance Leadership:

• Lead and oversee governance activities and workflows for the newly established DLP Governance Routines.
• Manage Issue Management, Operational governance, Exception management, and act as a Policy Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Cybersecurity Risk Management:

• Utilize strong Cyber risk or Cyber IT Audit knowledge to aggregate and report risks from various sources, including:
• Issues
• Policy Violations/Exceptions
• Stakeholder concerns
• Operational Exceptions
• Leverage expertise in improving Cybersecurity Risk posture and mitigating data loss.

DLP Program Implementation:

• Apply a well-rounded understanding of DLP operations, methodologies, and tools to operationalize the DLP program effectively.
• Enhance cyber defense tools, techniques, and processes through DLP program implementation.

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

• Proven experience in cybersecurity risk management and DLP operations.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, GLBA, CCPA, etc.).
• Familiarity with security control frameworks (NIST).
• Strong program management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to aggregate, report, and manage risks from diverse sources.
• Experience in improving cybersecurity risk posture and reducing data loss.

Preferred:

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
• Experience in cyber risk or cyber IT audit.
• Knowledge of various DLP tools and technologies.
