Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. This role offers the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, operating rooms (OR), behavioral health units, and home care environments.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist nurses with medical procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications:
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
- Active certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Experience in infectious disease care, dementia care, critical care, or pediatric care is a plus
- Familiarity with patient service in various healthcare settings
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
