Supervisor Title: Executive Housekeeping Manager
Job Summary: Responsible for the overall success of the rooms department of the hotel. They must oversee the housekeeping department including the laundry department. They must oversee ordering and proper inventory levels of supplies. Ensure guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met. Assist other managers in supervising all areas of the hotel in accordance with brand and company standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality. Provide exemplary performance for staff to follow.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
· Ensure training objectives and development plans are completed.
· Inspect every room, every day.
· Follow daily checklist,
· Continuous training of staff, sending employees back to rooms to correct errors.
· Maintain guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel.
· Personally demonstrate a commitment to guest service by responding to guests’ needs.
· Ensure all hotel staff, including new hires, knows all components/features of our guest service guarantee and are trained to meet and exceed service standards.
· Develop added value customer service programs.
· Recognize good team performance on a continuous basis through reward and recognition.
· Ensure the delivery of consistent guest service.
· Recognize and correct potential safety hazards, such as broken doors or railings, fire hazards, etc.
· Recognize and correct potential security problems, such as locking doors after hours, etc.
· Understand and follow policies and procedures for the hotel’s key control system and ensure the entire staff is trained and follow the procedures.
· Maintain physical product standards by managing preventative maintenance programs and by scheduling deep-clean activities.
· Ensure ongoing staff involvement in preventative maintenance programs. Protect the interests of the hotel during capital projects.
· Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management which the associate is capable of performing.
· Be flexible in regard to work schedule.
· Report to work on time and in proper and clean uniform, including name tag.
· Ensure all brand and company programs are in place, ie: ozone machines in every room, door stop polices, etc.
· Be knowledgeable about daily hotel operations. Be-up-to date with all changes, new procedures and events.
· Handle all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules and standards.
· Have knowledge about all emergency procedures and know how to act on them.
· Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
· Assist fellow associates in their jobs when able to improve daily operations of the hotel.
· Be aware of current guest service scores, and be able to understand guest comments and needs. Be an active participant in achieving the GSS goals of the hotel.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Must have a valid driver’s license, Proof of insurance and pass as approved driver. (if applicable)

Notice:
The hotel business operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Due to this, it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shifts to conform to the demands of the hotel and our guests. In addition, this is the hospitality business, and a hospitality service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with all rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subjected to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
