Job Title: Scientist (Analytical chemistry and/or in vitro biological testing) 

Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116

Pay range: $25 - $28 per hour

This is a Contract position on W2 only, no C2C or H1b.

Relocation candidate will be rejected, need local candidates only

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science or similar
• Experience / understanding of working in a lab.
• Lab work experience a strong plus.
• Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports a strong plus.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Researches and resolves complex technical problems or data discrepancies reported by client.
• Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products. Support current projects in research & development and pilot-scale manufacturing
• Focus will be on analytical chemistry work and / or in vitro biology work using instruments in the lab.
• Execute technical and cross-functional project work
• Follow and execute on standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods.
• Coordinate and support maintenance activities of lab as required.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business.
