Alongi Brothers Towing is Hiring a Shift Supervisor Near San Jose, CA
Position: Shift Lead
Schedule: 9 a.m - 7 p.m, Saturday to Wednesday
Pay: $25-26/hr with monthly and quarterly bonuses
Responsibilities
- Supervise Drivers.
- Oversee the daily activities of towing drivers.
- Assign tasks, routes, and responsibilities to drivers based on workload and priorities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and customer service standards.
- Drive Tow Truck.
- Operate a tow truck to assist with towing vehicles when needed.
- Respond to roadside assistance calls and accidents as required.
- Demonstrate safe driving practices and proper handling of towed vehicles.
- Data Entry and Reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of towing activities, including job details, time logs, and vehicle information.
- Enter data into computer systems and generate reports for management review.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Driver Memos and Communication:
- Communicate with drivers regarding schedule changes, job assignments, and operational updates.
- Distribute memos, instructions, and updates to drivers via email, phone, or in-person meetings.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
- Customer Service:
- Interact with customers to address inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Handle escalated issues and resolve conflicts professionally and efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and data entry.
- Knowledge of towing regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
