Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Little Rock, Arkansas that shapes the future by designing and building military aircraft, business jets and space systems. We are looking for experienced Cabinet Electrical/Components Installer who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!

As a Cabinet Electrical/Components Installer you will be responsible for wire and assemble aircraft cabinets and associated components/wire switch panels and various aircraft overhead and cabinet panels. Troubleshoot and repair as needed using common hand tools, electrical tools, and test instruments.

Essential Functions:

  • Interpret and follow complex wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Route and shape wires for harness build up.
  • Utilize standard wire binding devices in harness fabrication and installation.
  • Perform pin-to-pin continuity/power checks on ac and dc systems using volt/ohm meters to achieve fault isolation and repair.
  • Perform harness manufacturing, installation, and termination in accordance with specified data and standards.
  • Solder electrical components in accordance with DFJC standards.
  • Install avionics ac and dc audio and video components and related systems in aircraft cabinets and insures correct operation.
  • Wire aircraft water systems and insures proper operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Able to use all hand tools, electrical crimping tools, and soldering tools.
  • Must have minimum of two (2) years experience in the use of volt/ohm meters and other test instruments.
  • Must have minimum of three (3) years avionics/electrical experience or equivalent education.
  • Aircraft electrical/avionics experience.
  • Degree in Engineering Electronics Technology or Electronics Technology.
  • FCC license.
  • Able to define wire colors and have hand/eye coordination to perform job as required.
  • Able to interpret and follow complex wiring diagrams, blue prints, charts, and schematics.
  • Able to demonstrate soldering skills in compliance with inspection procedures manual, parts manufacturing quality control manual, and applicable FED standards
  • Able to work in a confined space.
  • Able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must have visual capacity and muscular dexterity to secure harnesses with clamps and other devices and to work on fine detail, high cost products with a minimum of errors and rework
