The employment coordinator will assist previously incarcerated men and women with job seeking and job placement, assist with portfolio development, resume writing and interview skills. Organize job fairs, develop relationships with potential employers and complete all paperwork related to a federal contract. This is a fast paced job requiring multi-tasking and excellent organizational skills. The applicant should have above average interpersonal skills with the ability to manage many types of people. Conflict resolution and crisis counseling experience is a plus. Must have a working knowledge of microsoft word and excel, with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.

The minimum experience for the position of Employment Coordinator will be one year of work experience in guidance, counseling, or job placement. Work experience may be substituted with a specialized degree or certification in the field of guidance, counseling or career development. A federal background check and drug screening must be passed before hire. One late night (until 7 p.m.) is sometimes required.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
