Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable and accounts payable with a focus on technical accounting concepts and ERP accounting systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team performing various duties in accounting. Knowledge of the lumber business give you a step up.

Responsibilities:

- Review and enter vendor invoices for payment
- Maintain electronic and paper vendor files
- Assist vendors with payment inquiries
- Assist in processing AR payments and maintaining customer balances
-Review quote and un-quoted invoices and process in ERP system
-Assist Controller with daily and monthly duties

-Other various duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business related field preferable
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- At least 10 years of collective experience in accounting department
- Be a self starter and critical thinker
- Verifiable stable work history

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
