Role & Responsibility:

As a member of the Research Process & Analytics team, you will drive strategic technology priorities (e.g. the adoption of GenAI) in partnership with our client’s Business Head and COO. Your role will involve:

Driving Technology Adoption and Best Practices across investment teams:

• Onboard new investors to the vast technology platform, ensuring they are adopting best practices and utilizing tools effectively
• Build a deep understanding of investor workflows and pain points, and be front footed about making improvements to processes and technology
• Educate investors on incorporating tools and best practices into their fundamental research processes
• Be a Swiss army knife for Portfolio Managers – if they have a problem, go get it solved

Drive the Technology Roadmap

• Collaborate with the Equities Engineering team to build and execute on a roadmap that solves key investor pain points and helps them accomplish workflows more efficiently than their competitors can
• Work iteratively with Engineering through the entire product lifecycle (ideation, design, deployment) to ensure final solutions meet investor needs

Build and Maintain Critical Infrastructure:

• Deliver analytical insights to investors on fundamentals, portfolio risk, and positioning through automated Python reports
• Help Portfolio Managers leverage technology in running critical Excel infrastructure (e.g. Models, Comp Sheets, Portfolio Sheets)
• Deliver reports to the management that details the health and performance of the business

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing and implementing technology solutions in a financial or investment environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with investors and engineering teams.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to execute strategic initiatives effectively.
• Proficiency in Python and Excel.
