- Accept money in the form of cash, checks, and credit or debit cards for items purchased; validates checks
- Ensure accurate transactions by balancing cash register and sales at the end of shift
- Will be cross-trained in handling preparing the front cooler, making smoothies, coffees, and other duties as assigned
- Greet customers as they enter the location
- Identify prices of products and services and tabulates bills with available equipment.
- Process returns and exchanges according to store policy
- Assist customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information
- Other job duties as assigned
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, and/or scanners
- Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with strong follow through
