Job Title: Employee Relations advisor

Location: Portland, OR 97216
Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior and middle management to operationalize HR strategies developed by HR leaders.
• Consult with local management and supervisors on departmental initiatives, goals, and workforce planning.
• Provide direction and support on employment needs, onboarding strategies, and employee relations.
• Act as a subject matter expert in HR disciplines, contributing to the enhancement of team and departmental effectiveness.
• Support the local rollout and implementation of COE programs, policies, and initiatives (e.g., talent development, total rewards).
• Participate in workforce planning, skill assessments, and employment strategies aligned with broader HR and talent management strategies.
• Manage local employee relations issues under the guidance of HR leadership and employee relations COE.
• Support HR acquisitions and divestitures processes, coordinating integration of COE resources and content.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master's Degree in Human Resources preferred.
• Minimum five years of technical HR experience preferred.
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR techniques, processes, and procedures.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage complex HR initiatives.
• Experience in change management, communications, and training related to HR programs.
• Ability to make decisions that impact departmental and operational functions.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.04 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
