Month 1: Learn the daily transactions and the operational accounting cycle. Build relationships with key stakeholders.
Month 2-3: Familiarize yourself with the company’s A/R, A/P, and other accounting processes and operations. Become the go-to person / take on full ownership of the A/P function with limited supervision.
Month 6: Assist with Implementing a new A/P dashboard to create real-time, systematic connection with the books to improve efficiency, transparency, and improve internal controls.
