AlphaStaff is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Orlando, FL

Since 1997, AlphaStaff has provided HR outsourcing solutions to a diverse range of businesses, from emerging small businesses to established large-scale organizations. We are recruiting an HR Generalist for a renowned client in Orlando, known as an expert service provider at the forefront of the vacation ownership industry, providing premier title and escrow services.
Job SummaryThe HR Generalist will administer the daily functions of the Human Resource department including benefits, new hire onboarding, employee relations, performance management, culture initiatives, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administers new hire orientation, ensuring a smooth integration for new employees.
  • Administers company benefit plans, acting as a liaison between the carriers and the staff, driving open enrollment and processing life events.
  • Investigates disciplinary matters and disputes, working with and making recommendations to leadership on compliant resolutions.
  • Collaborates with leadership on matters relating to performance and talent management, as well as training and development.
  • Acts as a driver for company culture, planning and executing on employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of human resource experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
