Job Description: Wheat Ridge Internal Medicine is an independent and entrepreneurial-minded group practice of 4 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers seeking a physician to join an established primary care clinic. The current physicians are Internal Medicine certified. This position offers high income potential with full partnership options within three years. Work/Life balance is fundamental to all associates and physicians in the group. Our practice is a member of the independent practice association (IPA), PHPprime. PHPprime provides wrap-around services to help make our practice successful, including care coordination, practice transformation coaching, risk adjustment coding education, population health management, data and analytics, specialist network management, and large group contracting. The Community: Located between Denver and the foothills of Colorado. Close to great biking, hiking and various entertainment venues. This community is touted as one of the best destinations in Colorado to raise a family and is recognized nationally by Forbes as one of the top places to move in the country. The Position: Provides full spectrum primary care. Develops and documents a plan of care for each patient, including a complete medical history, a physical examination, diagnosis of the causes of injuries and illnesses, appropriate treatment and/or referral, and hospital visitations when necessary. Adheres to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all federal and state health information privacy laws. Records complete, timely and legible medical records. Qualifications (Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities): MD or DO degree from fully-accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine Residency trained in internal medicine Excellent communication and inter-personal skills Job Schedule: Full time Workdays: 4 days per week and call is one week every 10 weeks Salary Range: Salary Range: 200-225K Plus Generous Bonus Structure If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
