Job Title: Air & Ocean Import Coordinator

Our client, a prominent freight forwarding company, is seeking a skilled Air & Ocean Import Coordinator to join their team in Atlanta, GA. As an Air & Ocean Import Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the import processes for both air and ocean shipments, ensuring seamless and timely delivery to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage air and ocean import shipments from start to finish
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and relevant import requirements
• Process and manage documentation for customs clearance
• Provide regular updates on shipment status to both customers and internal teams
• Resolve issues or challenges that may arise during the import process
• Collaborate with carriers and vendors to optimize import operations
• Handle the import process from A to Z

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in air and ocean import coordination, preferably in a freight forwarding environment
• Knowledge of customs regulations and import requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with air and ocean carriers and their rates
• CargoWise experience is an advantage
