Job Title: Ocean Export Coordinator

Our client, a prominent freight forwarding company, is seeking a skilled Ocean Export Coordinator to join their team in Miami, FL. As an Ocean Export Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the export process for ocean shipments, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee ocean export shipments from initiation to completion, handling the process from A to Z
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and relevant export requirements
• Process and manage documentation for customs clearance
• Provide regular updates on shipment status to both customers and internal teams
• Resolve issues or challenges that may arise during the export process
• Manage billing and invoicing for ocean export shipments

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ocean export coordination, preferably in a freight forwarding environment
• Knowledge of customs regulations and export requirements
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with ocean carriers and their rates
• CargoWise experience is an advantage
