Our Construction Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Technical Support Administrator reporting to our Waukegan branch.This role will be the point of contact and lead resource for new and existing technical resources. Updates and maintains support systems for existing staff with an emphasis and focus on pilot, pioneering and key programs to set the company apart from the competition. Responsibilities: Works with Product Support and Inventory Managers to update key resources for Burris Equipment personnel.Populate and maintain interactive website data, including current pricing and inventory for sales equipment, rental equipment, parts inventory, and service scheduling. Provides onsite support for account and system access as well as follow-up on current resource issues. Serves as primary contact for technical software and license support for service technicians. Serves as primary point of contact for eCommerce interfaces and coordination for fulfilment of online sales.Populates proactive planned maintenance work orders for both internal assets and customer equipment. Maintain tool and technology resource inventory.Maintain proper records, submits required reports and conducts other administrative details as required by upper management. Maintains and monitors databases for vendor accounts, certifications, training, directories, vendor bulletins, customer feedback, and equipment specifications. Additional tasks delegated at the discretion of Product Support, Inventory and/or General Manager. Specifications: Must be fluent in the operation of a personal computer, ERP/CRM business system, and suite of Microsoft Office products. Possesses background or skillset in information technology/software management, basic automotive/industrial mechanical repair, and ability to transform and manipulate data sets utilizing Excel or similar programs. Distributor Relationships: Accountable to the Product Support and Inventory Managers for proper interpretation and fulfillment of functions, specific and general responsibilities and related authorities and relationships.Coordinates activities and cooperates on matters of mutual concern with other functional managers.
