Warehouse Associate (Part-Time)

Alta Gama Foods, a specialty food industry company based in Kyle, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. We provide a range of services including import, warehousing, distribution, wholesale, and e-commerce fulfillment. Responsibilities:

• Supervise all aspects of receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
• Maintain the physical condition of equipment, initiating work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacements.
• Receive products daily to replenish inventory.
• Ensure proper stocking and inventory levels at all times.
• Conduct regular inventory counts.
• Manage stock levels and generate purchase orders to replenish products.
• Package and ship orders as necessary.
• Assist with product merchandising upon delivery.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in warehousing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet stacker, pallet jacks) is a required.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to effectively navigate changes.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
