Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Millsboro, Delaware On Site

Job Description: ALTA IT Services seeks a Network Engineer responsible for the comprehensive management of the Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and wireless network across all Mountaire locations. The role involves designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing network infrastructure, ensuring cyber security, vendor relationship management, and budget forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support, maintain, and monitor all network devices to ensure optimal Quality of Service (QoS).
• Design, deploy, and enhance the network to minimize downtime and enhance redundancy.
• Adhere to hardware life cycle guidelines to maintain devices in a supportable state.
• Provide support to Telecommunications Engineer, Manufacturing, and Network Analyst regarding network issues.
• Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems or related field (CCNA or CCIE certification is advantageous).
• 3 years of experience in network management with Cisco equipment.
• Proficiency in network switching, routing, and wireless devices.
• Ability to travel out of town for overnight trips approximately 5% of the time.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for reporting and documentation purposes.
