**Position** : Senior Product Sales Specialist
**Location** : Springdale, OH
**Job Purpose**
This position is responsible for driving profitable sales of the assigned CBTS products and/or services. The Senior Product Sales Specialist will provide overall sales direction for a particular product/service and will mentor Product Sales Specialists and Technical Sales Engineers. The Senior Product Sales Specialist will also be responsible for collaborating with Product Development to enhance and refine CBTS products and services. This individual will perform financial modeling for large, complex, high revenue transactions with customers. The Senior Product Sales Specialist is considered a master and expert of a certain product/service.
**Essential Functions**
Assist CBTS account managers to drive profitable revenue within the assigned strategic accounts (25%)
Perform financial modeling for large, complex customer transactions (10%)
Provide mentoring and direction to Technical Sales Engineers and Product Sales Specialists (15%)
Meet with strategic technology partners to sell the value of CBTS as an organization (15%)
Work with CBTS Product Managers to refine and perfect CBTS products (15%)
Develop and deliver customer proposals (15%)
Plan and forecast new sales opportunities (5%)
**Experience**
8 - 10 years of technical or consultative selling experience
Financial analysis and contract management background a plus
**Education**
Four years of High School or equivalent
CCIE, CCSP, EMC Master Architect, SUN Certified Specialist
**Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
Sales professional with excellent network selling skills
In-depth understanding of assigned product/service a plus
Ability to translate customer needs into relevant solutions by applying technology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
Strong negotiation skills needed
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs
Refined customer contact skills and experience
Strong teaming capabilities and collaboration skills
Professional communications and presentation skills
**Work Environment**
Work is typically performed in an office environment; travel to the client site may be required.
